He was predeceased by: his fathers, Clyde Woodford and Bert Taylor Woodford; and his siblings, Carl, Joe, Bill, Hester and Mary Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Watters Woodford; and his children, Carla Hammond of Trenton, Tammy Romans (Roger) of Elizabethtown, Samuel O. Woodford, Jr. (Lu Ann) of Elizabethtown and Michael Dan Woodford of Elizabethtown. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.
