Ronnie Wayne Day Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronnie Wayne Day of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Day and Molly Green Day; and his siblings, Lawrence, Hugh, Jesse, Henry Jr. Day, Roy Dickinson, Sue Simmons, Frances Tunnell, Carol Dickinson and Aska Mae Day.

He is survived by: his wife Velma; his children, Everette Day of Huntsville, AL, Tammi Moreland (Kenneth) of Killen, TX and Tara Day of Elizabethtown, KY; his grandchildren, Shamieka, Andre, Little Everette and Kiki; his brother James Dickinson; and his nephew Thomas Day (Wilma). He is also survived by relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (107 Bishop Ln, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Central Cemetery (2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY 40160).
