He is survived by: his wife Carol Stromatt; his children, Heather Sharpensteen (Robbie), Kirsten Brown (Tim) and Ian McDowell (Paula Henao); the mother of his children Melanie McDowell; his child Caitlyn Jewell (Chuck); his siblings, Kevin McDowell (Patty), Cathy Nuss (Lisa Fowler) and Donna Cocke (Eddie); and his grandchildren, Lauryn Stephens (Patrick), Olivia Sharpensteen, Addison Sharpensteen, Lochlan Brown, Irelann Brown, Ronan Brown, Charlotte Jewell, Vivian Jewell and Lydia Jewell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
