He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Kirk and Katie Kirk; his wife Harriett; and his brothers, Emory and Melvin Kirk.
He is survived by: his children, Relando Kirk, Jr. of Elizabethtown, KY and Keisha Jordan of Louisville, KY; and his sister Lillian Byers of Cincinnati, OH. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
