He was predeceased by: his parent Roscoe Lewis; his sister Sylvia Sanders; and his father-in-law John Sanders. He is survived by: his parent Ruby Valentine; his wife Jacqueline Faye Valentine of Elizabethtown; his children, Chris Valentine of Bowling Green and Whitney Valentine (Kevin) of Louisville; his grandson Ryan Valentine of Louisville; his sister Angela Zimmerman of Durham; his mother-in-law Bonnie Sanders of Elizabethtown; and his siblings-in-law, Cynthia Sanders of Elizabethtown and Dale Sanders (Clarissa) of Tampa, Florida. He is also survived by four nieces and two nephews.
