He was predeceased by: his parents, Brian Courtney and Christiane Courtney. He is survived by: his brother Georg Courtney of Vine Grove; his aunts, Angelika Heinen of Rome, Michelle Courtney Fout of Bothell and Chloe Anderson of Elizabethtown; and his children, Chuck Courtney and Kobe Courtney. He is also survived by three nephews; a niece.
