She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Anding and Leontin Anding; her husband James L. Fleming; and her siblings, Thelma Walker, Meredith, Reginald, James, Gregory, Douglas and Donald Anding.

She is survived by: her children, Olivia Fondren of Elizabethtown, KY, James Fleming, Jr. (Jerleane) of Hanover Park, IL and Alan B. Fleming (Vache) of Freeport, IL; her siblings, Aileen Walker, Mary Hill (Nate), Annette Hardge, Leontyne Adams and Walter Anding (Laura); her grandchildren, Brittany Nketsiah (Albert), Jordan Fondren, James Fleming, III, Joshua Fleming, Jeremiah Fleming, Percy Fleming, Essence Fleming and Zion Fleming; and her great grandchildren, Olivia Grace Nketsiah, David Nketsiah, Michael Nketsiah, Jordan Fondren, Jr., Ajriene Fleming and Kehlani Fleming.
