He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Riggs and Myrtle Riggs; and his siblings, Delbert Riggs, Stanford Riggs, Jerry Riggs, Delarene Riggs, Nadine Riggs, Neola Perkins, Marilyn Riggs and Imogene Fields.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Riggs; his children, Michael Riggs (Bonnie) of Elizabethtown, KY, Angela Meanor (Michael) of Radcliff, KY and Jason Riggs (Claire) of Elizabethtown, KY; his grandsons, Jake Riggs (Kylee), Bradley Riggs, Brayton Riggs and Michael Meanor Jr.; his great grandchild Kai Bal; and his brothers, Layman Riggs and Michael Riggs.
Visitation will be Friday 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm or Saturday 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Manakee Funeral Home in Upton.. Because of COVID-19, the family asks every visitor wear a face mask or face cover and practice social distancing.
