With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Purvis of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, who passed away on December 5, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Childress and Pearl Sanders Childress; her son Mark Purvis; and her siblings, Carlos Childress, Betty Wells and Francis Childress.

She is survived by: her children, Ray Purvis (Denise) of Hodgenville, Dana Merritt (Clint) of Hodgenville and Tammy Combs (Brian) of Ft. Knox; her sisters, Barbra Brown of Hodgenville and Sylvia Berg of Illinois; her grandchildren, Ben, Brad, Allen, Baylee, Brandi, Abigail, Hannah, James and Katie; and her great grandchildren, Grayson, Briley, Ariel, Ellie and Logan.
