She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Akers and Cecile Miller Akers; her siblings, Leo Reginald Akers, Linda Faye Bratcher Vessels and Joyce Ann Pearman; and her son Robert "Bobby" D. McCray.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" O. McCray of Elizabethtown; her siblings, Carlos Routt Akers of Elizabethtown, Eddie Lee Akers of Elizabethtown and Norma Dean Jent of Elizabethtown; and her children, Carolyn, Mary Ann Goodman (Larry) of Bowling Green, Patricia Ballard (Jeff) of New Haven and James "Jimmy" McCray (Annette) of Elizabethtown. She is also survived by twelve Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
