He is survived by: his wife Wilma Hazle Knott; his son Byron Lewis Knott (Linda) of Breckenridge County; his stepsons, Fred Blakeman of Rineyville and Phillip Blakeman of Buffalo; his sister Darlene Bennett (Wayne) of Breckenridge County; and his grandchildren, Ben Knott, Nick Knott and Megan Knott.
