He was predeceased by: his parents, Mahaley Julian and Doris Jean Helm Phelps. He is survived by: his son Joey Phelps (Amanda) of Florida; his grandson Cooper Phelps of Florida; and his siblings, Mae Sellers (Kenneth) of Missouri, Wanda Woods (Jim) of Elizabethtown and Lester Phelps (Patricia) of Clarkson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
