It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Sue Vertrees of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, born in Big Clifty, Kentucky, who passed away on June 3, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Crosier and Lela Meredith Crosier; and her siblings, Janet E Portman and Louis W Crosier. She is survived by: her husband David W Vertrees of Elizabethtown, KY; her children, Edred Vertrees (Alicia) of Leitchfield, KY, Ian Vertrees (Elizabeth) of Bedford, OH, Jessica Salyers (Adam) of Elizabethtown, KY and Melissa Boniecki (Ron) of Cole City, IL; her sister Debbie Crosier of St. Paul, KY; and her grandchildren, Vincent Orlando, Emily Sherman-Johnson, Caleb Salyers, Cheyenne Boniecki, Jack Salyers, Tucker Vertrees and Ronnie Boniecki.
