He is survived by: his wife Rheta Nall Sampson; his children, Lisa Nelson (Doug) of Vine Grove, Brent Sampson of Louisville and Barry Sampson (Kathy Lance) of Louisville; his grandchildren, Bradley (Amanda), Brian (Cristina), Kellie (Adam), Eric, Geoffrey and Scott; and his great grandchildren, Jakob and Emmalynn.
