She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Martin and Ruth Martin; and her brother David Martin. She is survived by: her husband Donald Phillips of Elizabethtown; her children, Ashley Varela (James) of Elizabethtown, Sara Staubs of Elizabethtown, John Childres (Stacie) of Vine Grove, KY and Chris Phillips (Heather) of Rineyville, KY; her siblings, Carolyn Kerr (Charly) of Raleigh, NC, Susan Anderson (Ron) of Darlington, SC and Charles Martin of San Diego, CA; her grandchildren, Austin (Megan), Dylan, Madison, Caleb, Cole, Ashlynn, Emilee, Kimberlyn and Kamdyn; and her great grandchild Foster.
