He was predeceased by: his son Bobby O'Daniel; his parents, Earl O'Daniel and Lucille Hamilton O'Daniel; and his siblings, Edith Higgins, Jenny Needy, Patricia Ashbrook, Aline Lanham (Sharon Logsdon), Tony and Eddie O'Daniel.
He is survived by: his wife Surena O'Daniel; his children, Michael O'Daniel (Carmen) of Elizabethtown and Monique "Monnie" O'Daniel of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Michelle O'Daniel and Greg O'Daniel (Megan); his great grandchildren, Keaton, Kendall, Madelynn and Greyson; and his siblings, Linda Barksdale of Louisville, Fran Hiser of Louisville, Roberta Smith of Bardstown and Jerry O'Daniel (Norma) of Bardstown.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home (208 W Water St, Hodgenville, KY 42748). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (125 Howardstown Rd, Hodgenville, KY 42748).
