It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Seymour of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, born in Magnolia, Kentucky, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Eloise "Lois" Elliott Seymour; his parents, Henry Abner and Sudie L. Thomas Seymour; his son-in-law Steve McFeeters; and his siblings, Anna Doyle, Stella Kessler, Juanita Lawson, Ginny Rose Murphy, Mary Miller, William, Claude W. and Henry Lewis Seymour, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Dena Smith (Bob) of Fairview, TN, Monica McFeeters of Baldwyn, MS and Heath Seymour (LeeAnn) of Louisville; his sister Nola "Jean" Peterson of Louisville; and his grandchildren, Cessna Kelley, Seth Ian McFeeters, Krista Marie Davis, Josie Seymour and Macie Seymour. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and numerous precious nieces and nephews.
