He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolly Clay and Lois Moss Clay; and his brothers, Charles Clay and Henry Clay. He is survived by: his children, Shaneatha Simms (Tyrum), Lorenzo Clay, Wan Clay and Sean Clay; and his sister Lottie Mae Clay. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
