He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Jackson and Amy Keith Jackson; his wife Wilma Faye Sherrard Jackson; his siblings, Wayne Jackson, Randell Jackson and Charlene Jackson Noe; and his daughters, Minta and Tina Jackson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bill Jackson of New Albany, IN, Ruby Williams of Cecilia, Norma Mink (Kenny) of Hodgenville and Linda Nevins (Lindon) of Hodgenville; and his children, Joe Jackson, Jr. of Elizabethtown, Vincent Jackson of Elizabethtown, James Jackson of Elizabethtown and Kristen Jackson of Elizabethtown. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
