She is survived by: her son Michael David (Brenda Rose); her cousin Walter "Jimmy" Smithers; her stepgrandson Jesse Bates; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Stella and Liliana Bates; and her close friends, Mary Kay Perry, Carolyn Buckles and Sally Sikes.
