With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gayle Franklin McCarty of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, who passed away on January 18, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Young McCarty and Eunice Stovall McCarty. He is survived by: his wife Martha Wadlington McCarty; his daughter Gayla Routt (Stan) of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Blaine Routt (Amber) and Kelsey Howell (Jordon); and his sisters, Wilma Marshall of Novi, MI and Sara Bodenhamer of Durham, NC.. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
