We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Gary Ostertag of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Ostertag, Jr. and Mildred Robinson Ostertag; his sister Mary Anne Ostertag; and his stepson Michael N. Becker. He is survived by: his wife Jane Montgomery Ostertag; his daughter Jennifer Ostertag; his stepdaughter Colleen Abston (Matt); his siblings, Andy Ostertag (Michelle), Kevin Ostertag (Martie) of Garland, TX, David Ostertag (Debbie) of Bradenton, FL, Keith Ostertag and Regina Ostertag; his grandchildren, Dylan Flikkie (Lindsey), Makayla, Carly Ostertag, Ethan, Audrey Abston and Jordan Brewer; and his great grandchild Grace Flikkie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private funeral service will be held on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: As of December 13, 2020, until further notice, Public visitation is again back in place with the following restrictions. If you must visit in person, you must wear a mask at all times, submit to a temperature scan at the check in and only come in to sign the guest register, quickly give condolences to the family and leave.
