She was predeceased by: her parents, Mirtie Donan and Charles Wells; and her siblings, Mose Wells, Jean Ditto, Sarah Moore, Vita Wells, Lula Wells, Ella Ree Wells, Jane Rose Wells and Brenda Taylor.

She is survived by: her sons, Roland Wells of San Bernardino, CA and Kelvin Wells of Elizabethtown, KY; her grandson Garyth Sandfier of Oak Grove, FL; and her siblings, David Wells (Bobbie) of Elizabethtown, KY, Charles Wells (Amanda) of Lawton, OK, Leon Wells of North Chesterfield, VA and Wanda Holmes (Ottley) of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Percell and Sons Funeral Home (120 Haycraft St, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Little Zion Baptist Church (7151 New Glendale Rd, Glendale, KY 42740).
