It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn S. Floyd of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, born in Upton, Kentucky, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Sanders and Blanche Riggs Sanders; her husband Lowell Floyd; her grandson Jerry Booker; and her siblings, Rev. Earl Sanders, Kenneth Sanders, Velmo Hornback, Louella Floyd and Elverda Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, Katherine Booker of Eastview, KY, Patty Wiseman (Bill) of Elizabethtown, KY and Mike Floyd (Valecia) of White Mills, KY; and her grandchildren, Steve, Mark, Chris, Kevin, Stephanie, Brian and Michael. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
