He was predeceased by: his former wife Nellie Byerly Johnson; his parents, Lawrence Johnson and Ora Johnson; and his sisters, Dulcie Drake, Delta Richey, Eva Lawson, Evelyn Drake, Ella V. Bailey and Lorene Sherrard.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Johnson; his children, Nancy Johnson, Paula Street (Jim) and Greg Johnson (Tracy); his grandchildren, Matt, Rachel, Courtney (Josh), Annie, Chloe, Garrett, Austin, Olivia (Patrick), Mason and Madison; his great grandchildren, Fletcher and Will; his stepchildren, Doug (Cindy), Ronnie and Melissa (Brent); and his siblings, Arnold Johnson and Mary Willie Boling. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
