He was predeceased by: his parent Blonnie Barnes; his sister Patricia; and his grandparents, Rev. Elijah and Lenora Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Teriscena Watson Barnes; his children, Kelvin Watson (Heather), Corby Heath (Sheree), Marcus Barnes (Shari), Teeya Barnes and Darcy Barnes; and his siblings, Samuel Barnes, Charles Barnes, Mike Barnes and Elder Mary Ann Walker. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
