He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Palmer and Linda Hicks. He is survived by : his wife Melinda Palmer; his children, Jessica Ashley (Takoda), Samuel Palmer and Makalla Palmer (Noah McAdams); his grandchildren, Maverick, Roman and Koa Ashley; and his siblings, Cheryl Coleman (Larry), Robin Christensen (Kevin), Ricci Palmer and Donald "Bucky" Palmer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 3rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the LifePoint Church of Elizabethtown (401 W Poplar St, Elizabethtown, KY 42701).
