He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Hizer and Eleanor Edwards Hizer Cashion; and his sister Linda Stinecipher. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Hizer of Elizabethtown; his children, Michael T. Hizer of St. Louis, Matthew N. Hizer (Jonelle) of Kansas City and Elizabeth S. Snell (Rory) of St. Louis; his stepchildren, Gary Ford of Elizabethtown, Trampus Ford (Laura) of Hudson, Jequita Hale (Carl) of Hudson and Twyla McGuffin (Chris) of Eastview; his grandson Nolan Hizer; his sister Mary Ellen Taschler; and his brother-in-law Bill Stinecipher. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
