She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore R. Duvall and Ada V. Duvall (Stewart); and her son Donald Scott Shepherd. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Lee "Jerry" Embry; her sons, Thomas Clay Shepherd (Donna) of Chattanooga, TN and James Kellen of Nashville, TN; her siblings, Theodore David Duvall (Janet) of Carmi, Marilyn Hawkins of Carmi, Wanda Buttery of Carmi and Vonda Bingman (Louis) of Carmi; and her granddaughter Breanna Harvey (Nathan). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
