We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2025, at the age of 75, Carol Jean Wooden of Elizabethtown, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Carol Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carol Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her father Charles "Jack" Wooden; her sister Jacqueline Wooden; and her children, Carrie Renfrow and Edward "EJ" Renfrow. She is survived by: her mother Wanda Wooden; her brother Steve Wooden (Rita); her daughter Rene'; her son-in-law Chris Collins; and her grandchildren, Tristan Collins, Avery Renfrow, Christin Renfrow and Ella Collins.
