Though Carl may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Pitts and Cloie Armstrong Pitts; his wife Hilda Butler Pitts; and his son Garry Pitts. He is survived by: his children, Carl J. Pitts, Jr. (Sandy) and Kim Basham (Lonnie); and his daughter-in-law Katherine Pitts. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
