He was predeceased by: his parents, Mose Cecil, Sr. and Christine Buckner; his grandson Todd "T. J." Allen, Jr.; and his brother Reggie Cecil. He is survived by: his wife Hattie Duncan Buckner; his children, Daraline Cox (Dave), Katie Buckner and Michael Buckner; his grandchildren, Kristina Covington-Jones (Aaron), Antoine Covington (Carolyn) and TaVion Buckner; his great grandchildren, Khania Jones, Erin-Khiyan Jones, K'Lyn Jones, Alandre "Pnut" Murphy, Jr. and Tanisia Murphy; and his siblings, Mose Cecil, Jr. (Linda), Gary Cecil (Rosie), Bernard Cecil and Anita Bradley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
