He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammie Skaggs and Annie Bell Skaggs; and his siblings, Eva Skaggs, Floyd Skaggs, Alton Skaggs, Charles Skaggs, Lloyd Skaggs and Elvie Skaggs.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lillie Bast of Louisville, Pauline Keown (Randy) of Mt. Washington, Linda Wright (Paul) of Hodgenville, Judy Gruber of Lebanon and Sherman Skaggs (Wanda) of Hodgenville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
