He was predeceased by: his wife Cleo; his parents, Juanita Cecil, and Mose T. Cecil, Sr.; and his brothers, Reginald Cecil and Billie Frank Buckner.
He is survived by: his sons, Berneil Cecil of Elizabethtown, KY and Jeffery Handley of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Elijah Cecil of Elizabethtown, Xavien Cecil of Elizabethtown, Gabriella Cecil of Elizabethtown and Kaisyn Cecil of Elizabethtown; and his siblings, Gary Cecil (Rosie) of Conyers, Mose T. Cecil, Jr. (Linda) of Elizabethtown, Anita Bradley of Lexington, KY and Jackie Woods of Hodgenville.
