It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta G Nelson of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, who passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Gray and Bradie Miller Gray; her son Stanley E. Jones (Gladys) of LaFayette, IN; her siblings, Arvil, Walter Gray, Hazel and Gladys Campbell; and her daughter-in-law Rose Marie Jones (William Nelson).
She is survived by: her children, Doyle R Jones of Big Clifty, KY, Russell L Jones of Cecilia, KY, Barry Jones (Bobbie) of Cecilia, KY, Gary Jones (Crystal) of Glendale, KY. and Linda Beasley of Elizabethtown, KY; and her stepchildren, Joyce Leyoung (Joseph), Connie Kinkade (Jesse), Billy Nelson (Maryann) and James Nelson (Edna). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 16 great-great grandchildren.
