She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas M. Clanton Sr. and Marguerite E. Crabtree; her husband James M. Prather; and her son James Owen Prather. She is survived by: her daughters, Marguerite "Midge" Thomas (Terry) and Linda Wendell (René). She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
