James Donald McGar Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Donald McGar Jr. of Ekron, Kentucky, who passed away on September 28, 2022 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Don McGar and Rita McGar; and his brother Jeff McGar. He is survived by: his wife Dianna Chapman McGar; his stepsons, Shawn Hammontree (Bethany) and Jason Hammontree (Micah); his grandchildren, Bria, Naomi and Silas; his sister Jan McGar Raine; and his nieces and nephews, Josh McGar, Jonathan Raine, Anne Raine Hayden and Janice Faye Raine Johnson. He is also survived by five great nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association, or to the American Cancer Society.
