He is survived by: his sisters, Cassandra Maxwell, Brenda Springer, Karen Cottrell (Garrick), Barbara Wilson (AJ) and Pam Brooks; his aunts and uncles, Mildred Ditto, Bettye Banks, Wesley Keyes (Angie) and James Freeman; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Maxwell (Amber), David Brooks, André Springer (Kathryn), Demetrius Brooks (Amanda), Demario Brooks (Brooklyn), Dezimon Brooks (Miranda), Donche Singleton, JaNeé Springer, Charlene Clever (Andrea), Te'Asia Brown and Kendra Brown. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
