He is survived by: his sons, James Robert Chism (Amanda) of Vine Grove, KY and John Lamar Chism of Ekron, KY; his grandchildren, Emma, Brayden, Graham, Macie and Charlotte; his caregiver Doris Benningfield; his siblings, Joyce Bryson of Louisville, Margie Conder of Louisville and Jimmy Chism of Louisville, KY; and his nieces, Tina Branham of Louisville and Wendy Conder of Louisville. He is also survived by extended family & many friends.
