He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Pen" Compton and Dessie Louise Compton Dile; and his siblings, Kim Dile and Shelia Hardin. He is survived by: his wife Natalie J. Compton; his sons, James Compton, Jonathan Lane Compton (Gayla) and Geoffrey Compton (Sandra); his grandchildren, Autumn Knight, Abigail Feese, Keelin Reynolds, Carson Long, Claire Long, Hunter Compton, Micah Compton, Jozalin Compton, Grayson Compton, Leah Compton and Dylan Compton; his great grandchild Justin Chapman; his siblings, Jimmy K. Dile (Jennifer), Kevin Dile (Arlene), Stevie Dile and Kathy Harper (Chris); and his stepfather Jimmy Dile. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home (801 N Race St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
