He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Oakes and Ethel Oakes (McKinney). He is survived by: his cousins, Debbie Smith (David) of Edmonton, Becky Bowman (Gerry) of Temple Hill and David Clark (Theresa) of Tallahassee, Florida; his close friend Janet Roberts (Dennis); and his brother Cole. He is also survived by neighbors and friends.
