He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey Lee and Nora Jane Harper (Jessie); his son Jerry Paul Harper; and his sisters, Liz White and Norma Watson.
He is survived by : his wife Jill Acree Harper; his children, Jan Hunt (Clay), Joseph Todd Harper and William Dale Harper (Brandy); his step-children, Susan Barton, Anne George (Gary), Cam Saltsman (Shelly) and Peter Saltsman (Rose); his siblings, Betty Cooksey (Larry) and Jessie Harper (Debbie); and his close friend Charley Capshaw. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; one step great grandchild.
