He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Phelps and Lonia Garrett Phelps; and his siblings, Onia Garrett, Rae Dial, Linda Dickson and Jimmy Phelps.

He is survived by: his children, Gloria Phelps and Daniel Phelps of Glasgow; his grandchildren, Amber Burton (Adam) and Timothy Jessie; his great grandchildren, Isaiah White-Jessie and Mukenzie Jessie; and his siblings, Helen Jessie of Edmonton, Arkley and Gene Phelps (Jo Ann) of Edmonton.

Memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
