She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Reece and Bettie Strange Reece; her husband Henry Sullivan; her son Tim Sullivan; and her brothers, Leon, Russell, Robert of Ralph, J. W. and Tommy.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Perkins (Guy) of Edmonton and Henry Sullivan, Jr. of Crestwood, KY; her grandchildren, Carla Green (Mark) of Chapel Hill, TN, Jon Perkins (Beth) of Austin, TX, Marshall Sullivan (Kelly) of San Diego, CA, Sharon Bailey (Kristoff) of Temecula, CA, Heather Sullivan Lally (William) of Jackson, GA, Dustin Sullivan (Samantha) of Burkesville, Sarah Thomas (Kurt) of St. Augustine, FL and Asher Sullivan (Annie) of Bowling Green; and her siblings, Billy Reece of Edmonton and Martha Mitchell of Louisville. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (201 East St, Edmonton, KY 42129). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Tim R. Sullivan Scholarship Fund (PO Box 134, Edmonton) or the Metcalfe County Retired Teachers.
