He was predeceased by: his parents, John I Devore and Maple Lougene Pedigo Devore; his sister Joan DeVore Gassaway; and his brother-in-law Junior Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen Butts DeVore; his children, Clarissa Jane Bryant (Raymond Thomas) and John Parke DeVore (Mary Catherine) of Indianapolis, IN; his siblings, Sandra Thompson, Teena Taulbee (Ronald) of Winchester and Wally DeVore (Norma); his grandchildren, Chloe Coffman-Keister, Cassandra DeVore, Hyacinth Bryant, Ashtin Bryant and Jonathan Coffman; and his brother-in-law Eddie Gassaway.
