He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leamon Jewell, Sr. and Mary Kathleen Karnes Jewell. He is survived by: his siblings, Carolyn Matthews of Glasgow, Elaine Harbison (Stanley) of Randolph and C. Dennis Jewell of Hiseville; his nieces and nephews, Mark Matthews (Becky), Clint Harbison (Kim), Terry Jewell, Travis Jewell (Erica), Melissa Russell (Mark), Melanie Moon (Casey) and Cynthia Shive (Randall); his caregivers, Judy Coomer (Ma), Beth Berry, Misty Young, Maggie Scott, Tonya Scott and Sheila Mattingley; and also Jimmy Eudy. He is also survived by ten great-nieces and nephews; three great-great nieces and nephews.
