He was predeceased by: his parents, John Amos and Martha Jean Burke (Goldman); and his brothers, Gary Gene, Roger Lynn and Michael Wayne Burke.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Burke of Vincennes; his sons, John Andrew Burke (Robin) of Vincennes and Mark Alan Burke (Nicole) of Vincennes; his sister Reba Gail Spanger (Loy) of Bicknell; his grandchildren, John Cody Burke (Jessica), Nicholas Burke (Sherie), Shelby Burke, Ellie Burke and Molly Burke; and his great grandchildren, John Oliver Burke, Bentley Burke, Ruby Burke and Henry Burke.
