She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Carie and Julie Carie (Durham); her siblings, Emalene Carie, Tim Carie and Joe Carie; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Frey and Eva Carie.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Veale of Washington; her children, Cory Ridgley, Kyle Ridgley, Carey Ridgley, Amanda Veale, Eric Ridgley and Charles Edwin Veale; and her siblings, Rete Carie (Cindy Houston), Moe Carie (Jane), Ruth Ann Frey (Annie), Carol Steele (Fred), Jack Carie (Posey), Joanie Carie and Judy Cooley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
