He is survived by: his wife Elaine Poynter Beard of Edmonton; his son Stacey Beard (Robin) of Edmonton; his brother Cecil Beard (Libby) of Adair County; his grandson Jonathan Beard of Edmonton; and his great grandchild Ruby Cate Beard.
