She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Mitchell and Adele Mitchell (Gassaway); and her husband Bobby Rush. She is survived by: her daughter Patty Smith (Steve); her granddaughter Kelly Jones; her stepgrandchildren, Wesley Jones, Ashley Barnes, Abigail Smith and Adam Smith; and her cousin Frances Royse.
In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to the Edmonton United Methodist Church or the New Liberty Cemetery Fund.
